The Bay
Your adventure begins in Chaleur Bay, where common seals, birds
and marine invertebrates await your visit.
The Barachois
In the tidal pools and bars of the barachois - an ecosystem characteristic
of the southern shore of the Gaspé Peninsula - you'll encounter the
bird species that frequent these wetlands rich in biodiversity.
The River
The Gaspé Peninsula's numerous rivers offer the ideal habitat for
many species... such as the otters and brook trout you might meet
just around a curve in yhe trail.
The Forest
Changing with the seasons, the forest of the Gaspé Peninsula is
home to many mammalian species. Here you can learn about the complex
dynamic between these animals, their habitat and human beings.
The Tundra
Climb up the alpine tundra, the austere and unique habitat of the
mountains of Gaspésie. You can observe the woodland caribou, whose
presence on the Gaspé Peninsula takes on added signifiance.
